Kylie Jenner has relaunched Kylie cosmetics, only this time it’s different. The model, socialite, and reality TV star’s beauty brand made a comeback after quietly disappearing from the beauty scene a couple of months ago.
The brand promises to have improved its formulas, added new products to its collections, and of course serve its customers better. The customers and fans on the other hand came through and shopped till they temporarily crashed the brand’s website.
The new formulas are reportedly clean, vegan and are made according to standards in the USA, EU, and Canada. The brand is certainly trying to make a good impression this time, following a lot of criticisms against it in the past.
Kylie is mostly enjoying the perks of being a beauty mogul at this time as she sold about 51% of the brand to Coty in 2019 to help bring Kylie cosmetics to a better position globally, with its available infrastructure.
In the new lip formula, the brand promises that the longevity will be up to 8 hours and will be available in about 37 variants. Although, some of them are currently not available for sale at this time. Kylie spoke about the reason why the brand decided to work on long-lasting lipsticks saying,
“When I put on my lipstick I don’t want to reapply for the whole night. You just want it to stay and last forever. I just want everyone to feel good when they wear my makeup and feel the love that we put into it.”
The new collection steps outside of the famous Kylie “lippies” to explore with brows, eyeliners, blushes, highlighters, and bronzers. Sadly, the creme lipsticks and concealers did not make it to this collection. Perhaps, to establish that this is truly a new start for the brand.
Kylie also took the fans through the process of production, and packaging of this new collection during a mini-series on her YouTube channel. Kylie has also revealed that this is only the beginning as she has an upcoming collaboration with her daughter, Stormi called Kylie baby which is already in the works.
