On the 5th of March, singer, songwriter and musician Brandy marked the 20th anniversary of her album Full Moon.

The artist took to her social media to celebrate the anniversary and also shared on VIBE’s gallery and their celebration of her Full Moon era.

She announced she has many surprises in store for her fans throughout the year and spoke of her excitement, “Happy 20th Anniversary to my third life changing album #FullMoon [new moon face emoji] Like the phases of the moon I have evolved, and want to share this magical year with all of you! #TheYearOfFullMoon20. Stay tuned for new performances, new vocals, new visuals as we celebrate A #NewMoon #TheYearOfFullMoon20.”

This statement was made alongside a 40-second trailer video showing the singer wearing a black bodysuit and black Louboutin heels, walking alongside a beach as waves crashed onto the shore. The video ended with Brandy and a stranger seeming to make plans about the “Full Moon” album.

She has associated with Monica, Ray J, Rodney Jerkins and Timberland.

Brandy was born in California and began her career as a backing vocalist for teen groups. She signed with Atlantic Records in 1993 and released her album “brandy” in 1994. This album went on to sell six million copies.
