Where are the Gilmore Girls Cast Now?

Gilmore Girls is a TV show about a mother and daughter with complicated lives. They live in a small fictional town called Stars Hollow in Connecticut. According to the storyline, Lorelai Gilmore had her daughter Rory as a teenager. They both had a strong bond, however, Lorelai’s relationship with her own mother was strained.

Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore)

Alexis Bledel, 41, continues to appear in major films since Gilmore Girls, including 2007’s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and 2009’s Postgrad. She also appeared in 2011’s Violet & Daisy and 2019’s Crypto.

In 2017, Alexis was given her first Emmy for her work on Netflix’s The Handmaid’s Tale. She took home the prize for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore)

Lauren Graham’s big break came with Gilmore Girls, although she had been in the business for years before playing Lorelai Gilmore.

After the series, she went on to star in the NBC drama Parenthood as Sarah Braverman. She has also published three books in recent years: ‘In Conclusion, Don’t Worry About It’, ‘Talking As Fast As I Can’, and ‘Someday, Maybe’.’

Lauren is currently starring in the Disney+ original series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

Melissa McCarthy (Sookie)

Melissa’s success can be attributed to her extroverted personality and amazing ability to bring Sookie to life. This led her to be cast in many projects and become one of the most successful members of the Gilmore Girls cast.

Melissa McCarthy is widely known for her appearances in various comedies, including Bridesmaids (2011), Identity Thief (2013), The Heat (2013), Spy (2015), Ghostbusters (2016), Life of the Party (2018), and Thunder Force

(2021).

Melissa most recently starred in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) and Netflix’s God’s Favorite Idiot. Her next role will be in The Little Mermaid, set to come out in 2023.

Liza Weil (Paris Geller)

Forty-five-year-old actress Lauren Graham guest-starred on popular television shows such as NBC’s Law and Order and ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy after her role in Gilmore Girls ended.

She also played Amanda Tanner on ABC’s Scandal, as well as Bonnie Winterbottom on How to Get Away with Murder.

Some of her latest works include The Black Emperor of Broadway, Women Is Losers, and recurring roles on Fox’s The Cleaning Lady and HBO’s Westworld.
