Interests

Aside from creating content on TikTok, Anna Bonelli is also passionate about softball and sports photography. In fact, she was previously listed on the Next College Student Athlete website, where her profile included details of her athletic abilities such as her sprint time and vertical jump record. Bonelli is 5ft 5in (1.65m) tall and primarily plays softball.

She also has a secondary Instagram account under the name “AB Nelli” where she shares photos of her friends and teammates, showcasing her skills as an amateur photographer and videographer.

Controversy

Despite her attempts to address the rumours about her scar, she has been met with scepticism by some users in the comment section of her videos. However, she has chosen to capitalize on the attention and use her platform to advocate for body positivity and awareness of domestic violence. Bonelli has been questioned about her facial scar for nearly two years, and she has addressed sceptics who don’t believe her facial scar is real.

She has also been a victim of the “build them up, tear them down” mentality of fame when she began to regularly get accused of faking her scar for attention. Despite the hate, she continues to live her life and encourages people to embrace their scars.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Bonelli said that she never planned to become an influencer, but it kind of just happened. She was insecure about her scar at 16, but now she’s done regretting who she sees in the mirror.
