Nigerian engineer and designer, Ebi Atwaodi has been selected as a member of the Board of Directors, The LEGO group, a Danish construction toy production company.
The company made the announcement on Thursday unveiling Atwaodi as their latest member of the 8-person A/S board.
Prior to her current role, Atwaodi was previously Director of Product, Payments EMEA at Netflix, and before that Head of Product at Uber leading the global payments experiences across all Uber apps.
She also served as director of product management, Creator experience at Google and Head of corporate communications at Etisalat.
Atwaodi brings together over a decade of experience as an engineer, designer, communicator and general manager to create “impactful, sustainable products that harness the power of storytelling and positively impact people’s lives”, according to the company.
She studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and holds a master’s degree in computer science from Imperial College, London.
