Nigerian woman Lisha Dachor has painted over 4,000 nails in 72 hours in an attempt to break the world record.
The 19-year-old from Plateau state, northern Nigeria, took on an incredible challenge to paint hundreds of fingernails with blue, pink and purple varnish.
Her three-day marathon came to an end on Wednesday.
According to the Guinness World Record, GWR, rules for Ms Dackor’s attempt to count, she must paint 60 fingernails per hour.
Now she awaits GWR to review her attempt after submitting her evidence.
In an interview with BBC, Dachor said she embarked on this challenge to change the narrative about teen mothers like herself.
“I want to give people hope, especially single mothers because many people don’t think we have anything to offer,” she said.
The nail technician who has been working professionally for almost three years revealed that she hopes to put women from northern Nigeria in the spotlight through her record.
