Homemade natural skin care is the way to go in 2020. It can also help give your skin a natural glow. One of the advantages of mixing your own skin cream is that you get to stay away from harsh chemicals.

As mentioned earlier, there are different skin types and one needs to know their skin type before venturing into cream mixing.

If you need help with figuring your skin type, you can also see a dermatologist, as they can tell you about your skin type and about other skin conditions you may have as well.

Types of Skin

There are 3 different types of skins.

  1. Normal skin: This skin has extremely small pores and is neither too dry nor too oily.
  2. Combination skin: This skin is a mixture of dry and oily skin. It can be dry on some areas and oily on some areas. The oily areas are usually the T-zone around the nose, forehead and chin.
  3. Oily skin: This skin has the most enlarged pores and is recognizable from its blackheads, pimples, and other blemishes. It is usually shiny.
  4. Dry skin: This skin is wrinkled and does not have pores. It is usually dull.

Natural Recipe For Mixing Skin Cream

Plain organic yogurt – One and half cup;

Honey – One teaspoon

Lemon Juice – Two tablespoon

Ground Tumeric – One pinch

Almonds

Crush the almond using a food processor until it turns to powder. Be careful about this process because if care isn’t taken, it can turn to almond butter after being processed for too long. Pre-crushed almond powder are also available for sale if you do not possess a food processor.

Add the honey, lemon juice, tumeric and yogurt. Stir and make sure it is well blended.
