An alleged Kim Porter memoir, containing diary entries, has appeared on Amazon following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal troubles.
The book, “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side…,” became available on Sept. 6, just about a week before Combs faced charges of sex trafficking and racketeering.
According to Daily Mail, the 60-page book was published by Chris Todd, a producer from Los Angeles.
Todd claims the book holds information that Porter had stored on a flash drive and shared with friends before her unexpected passing almost six years back.
The unauthorized book was published under the name “Jamal T. Millwood,” and Todd is credited as a co-writer alongside Porter.
The unauthorized book, which is currently for sale on Amazon, makes shocking claims, stating that Porter was reportedly slapped and threatened by Diddy.
Additionally, it alleges that she came across tapes of Diddy engaging in intimate activities with male pop stars he was overseeing.
However, Kim Porter’s children whom she shared with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs issued a joint statement refuting the claims that their mother authored a book.
Kim Porter’s Children Say Their Mother ‘Did Not’ Write a Book
The children of Kim Porter are setting the record straight, refuting the claims that their late mother wrote a memoir as “simply untrue.”
Christian (King) Combs, twins D’Lila and Jessie Combs, and Quincy Brown shared a statement on Instagram, clarifying the situation over a week after Diddy’s arrest.
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out,” they wrote.
“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue”, their statement continued.
“She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.
“Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”
The children clarified that there was no foul play in their mother’s death noting that Porter died as a result of lobar pneumonia at the age of 47 in November 2018.
“Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother.
“She was our world, and nothing has been the same since she passed.
“While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established.
“There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day.”
“We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives.
Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories,” the statement concluded.
“We ask that everyone please respect our mother, Kim Porter, and hold her legacy in high regard so that she may rest in peace. It’s what she deserves. We love you and miss you Mommy. Quincy, Christian, Jessie & D’Lila.”
