Have Love Island’s Shaq and Tanya broken up?
According to statements released on their Instagram stories, the pair announced the end of their relationship after meeting just over a year ago on the dating show.
Shaq wrote, “Hi guys, just want to say unfortunately me and Tanya are no longer together and have parted ways. We wish each other the best and can’t thank you enough for loving us together until now!”
Tanya also confirmed the news with a post: “Hi guys just want to say unfortunately me and Shaq are no longer together and have parted ways. We wish each other the best and can’t thank you enough for loving us together until now!!”
Why did Love Island’s Shaq and Tanya break up?
It’s not clear why they decided to part ways officially, but both have expressed that they “wish each other the best,” hinting at a friendly separation.
When breakup rumours circulated the month before their announcement, reports suggested that Tanya unfollowed Shaq on Instagram due to his behaviour while on vacation with Love Island star Dami Hope.
An insider shared with the tabloids: “Tanya was not happy about some of Shaq’s behaviour on holiday.
His communication wasn’t what it should have been. He was seen looking very close to another girl—nothing was going on, but it looked bad.
Tanya later re-followed Shaq but deleted all their pictures together when they made their split public.
Initially, the insider mentioned their disagreement was “nothing they can’t fix,” but now they have chosen to go their separate ways.
