Nishia Jackson is the girlfriend of late DJ D Baby who died after falling from the balcony of the 13th floor of a high-rise apartment. Nishia Jackson is a well-known figure in the Houston LGBTQ community. She became famous by performing with Da Divaz in some of Houston’s biggest clubs. After that, she became a full-time assistant to her mentor, drag performer Cookie LaCook.
After LaCook’s death in 2007, Jackson took control of her mentor’s business, Club Toys, renaming it Club Divaz.In 2012, Jackson launched Krave Houston. In 2018, the Mayor declared December 8 to be Nishia Jackson Day in honor of her efforts.
According to information on Facebook, Nishia Jackson is also a school counsellor and owner of a club called Culture Htx. She also has a master’s degree in education.

After the death of Darian Lewis, Jackson posted details of the incident on her personal Facebook page. The cause of DJ Baby’s demise was injuries sustained in an accidental fall, according to her public statement.
“I’ve chosen to break my silence not for you all, but for her and me,” she began. “I’ve been quite down and in a lot of pain.”
“She dashed to the terrace. When she climbed into the patio chair, I ran from the door, but she collapsed before I could help her. I truly saw and heard her fall in front of my eyes. “
Fans on Twitter were shocked by her death, and they responded with heartfelt condolences and death tributes. Darian’s obituary has not yet been published, however.
The incident is still under investigation by the authorities.
