Amy Andrews is now taking a break from her Fox 2 Mornings hosting responsibilities due to health concerns.
Andrews addressed fans’ and watchers’ concerns over her absence in a statement on Twitter and Instagram last month.
She stated that she will be taking a few weeks off from the show to “deal with certain health difficulties,” but gave no additional details.
Following Andrews’ postings, admirers rushed to express their best wishes to the Fox 2 anchor.

In July 2021, fans expressed concern about Andrews as she announced she had hurt her back.
Andrews explained at the time that she had suffered the injuries after losing her footing while running along a Florida beach.
She had back surgery and returned to Fox 2 in August of that year after three weeks of recovery.
Amy Andrews, who originally joined Fox 2 in 2011, has been a familiar face to Fox 2 viewers throughout the years.
