Teddi Mellencamp Reveals Doctors Found ‘Multiple Tumors’ On Her Brain

Teddi Mellencamp has announced that she will undergo surgery to remove two brain tumors.

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, 43, shared this shocking update in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

“For the past several weeks, I’ve been experiencing severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday, the pain became unbearable, requiring hospitalization,” Mellencamp, daughter of singer-songwriter John Mellencamp, 73, explained.

“After a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months.

“Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today, and the remaining smaller tumors will be addressed with radiation later on.”

The wellness coach and trainer expressed gratitude for the support she’s received, stating, “I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses, and surgeons who are doing everything possible to help me regain better health.”

She concluded her post with thanks to everyone who has reached out and supported her during this journey. In a photo shared on her Instagram story just hours before, Mellencamp is seen in a hospital bed with her eyes closed and sensors on her forehead.

“Counting down the minutes until my babies get here,” she wrote in the caption. Referring to her father, John, she added, “As my dad said this morning, God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a tough day, but I have faith in my amazing surgeons and know everything will be okay.”

After announcing her diagnosis and upcoming surgery, Teddi also shared a video of herself getting her hair buzzed off in preparation. “I didn’t have this look on my bucket list,” she said while holding her phone and looking into the camera as her friend Marisela Arechiga gave her a buzz cut.
