It Ends With Us author Colleen Hoover has returned to Instagram after deactivating her account amid the ongoing legal drama involving Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.
Hoover, 45, left the platform in late January as tensions escalated between Lively, 27, and Baldoni, 41, during the film adaptation of her bestselling novel.
On February 12, her account reappeared, without any photos of Lively and Baldoni, and omitting references to the It Ends With Us promotional tour from last summer.
The film, released in August 2024, portrays Lily Bloom (Lively) as she navigates an abusive relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincard (Baldoni), ultimately finding support from her high school love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar).
Despite Baldoni directing the film and securing rights to the novel, he and Lively did not promote the movie together amid their ongoing legal disputes.
Amid speculation of tension between the co-stars, Lively filed a complaint in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, alleging a “hostile work environment” and claiming he caused her “severe emotional distress” during their collaboration.
After The New York Times reported on Lively’s allegations, Hoover publicly supported her on Instagram, stating, “Blake Lively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive, and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.”
Since then there has been a back and forth among both parties amid their ongoing legal drama.
