Rihanna Shares Her Top Tips for Embracing Your Inner Confidence and Sex Appeal

The “Love On The Brain” singer has always embraced her sex appeal and recently shared empowering advice on how women can feel confident doing the same.

Speaking to E! News’ Francesca Amiker at an exclusive Nordstrom preview of Savage X Fenty’s Lavish Lace collection on Oct. 10, Rihanna said, “It may sound cliché, but it truly begins from within. You’ve probably heard that a million times, but it’s only because it’s accurate.”

She continued, “Your appearance doesn’t matter.”

For Rihanna, sexiness is about being unapologetically true to yourself. “There’s a certain presence a woman can exude when she enters a room, completely embodying her authentic self and not caring who’s watching, and that’s the kind of woman I admire,” she explained. “I want to promote that as much as possible.”

Striving to make lingerie more accessible and inclusive, Rihanna recently partnered with Nordstrom, Savage x Fenty’s first U.S. retail partner. She aims to show women they can feel sexy whenever they choose—not just on special occasions. With the Lavish Lace collection, she wanted to give women the option to feel confident every day.

“Lace doesn’t have to be visible,” she clarified. “It can be worn under your T-shirts, beneath your jeans, anywhere you go.”

Rihanna expressed her excitement about the new Nordstrom collaboration, which she announced in August, as it allows her to reach more women with her message of inclusivity.

“The main inspiration was to make Savage as globally and as widely accessible as possible, particularly in North America,” she explained. “Nordstrom is a leading retail outlet, and this marks our first retail partnership in the U.S. It’s an exciting development for us.”

She added, “We’re looking forward to connecting with our new customers, friends, and fans of the business and the brand. Our goal is to empower women to feel as amazing as they deserve to.”
