Natalie Joy, Nick Viall’s wife, has shared that she experienced a second miscarriage within a short period following her first.
In an Instagram Story posted on Sunday, Joy disclosed, “This past week, I miscarried again.”
She explained that the pregnancy followed closely after a previous miscarriage earlier in the year.
“While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again,” she wrote.
Joy described the emotional journey, stating, “It took some time for me to accept what had happened only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast. But eventually I found so much happiness. We were finally in a place of complete utter gratitude.”
She revealed that she underwent a dilation and curettage procedure.
“It’s going to take some time for me to feel like myself again and honestly I may never will but I hope to keep y’all involved in whatever that may look like,” she added.
Joy concluded her message by expressing gratitude for her husband and their daughter, River Rose, stating, “Going back to squeezing my husband and my sweet angel River Rose who are truly the reason I have survived this time and time again.”
This announcement follows Joy’s previous disclosure on the “Viall Files” podcast in January, where she shared details of her first miscarriage.
She and Viall were able to respectfully handle the remains of the pregnancy.
Joy and Viall, who married in April 2024, welcomed their daughter, River, in February 2024.
