Simone Biles recently revealed her new tattoo.
The gymnast, 27, took to Instagram on Thursday, to showcase her new ink done by tattoo artist Sydney Smith.
She shared pictures of the artwork on her Instagram Stories.
The tattoo, boldly stating “made in heaven” in all caps, is situated on the back of her neck, as shown in the picture.
Prior to the reveal, Biles gave a sneak peek the night before by posting a behind-the-scenes video of her tattoo process on Wednesday, captioned “after show tattoos” on her Instagram Stories.
In the video, she was seated in a chair, moving her camera around the tattoo parlor.
The scene included various portable square lights, a red lounge chair, and a printer.
Additionally, the 11-time Olympic medalist added a second tattoo during her visit, possibly a tribute to her husband Jonathan Owens, whom she tied the knot with in April 2023, according to TMZ.
The second tattoo, a small “J” on her left hand, was revealed in a video published by Smith later that Thursday.
Smith mentioned to TMZ that the initial connection with Biles was through social media, and the creation of both pieces took approximately 90 minutes to finish.
“It was a great experience, but I treat all of my clients the same. It’s always a good time getting to do what I love every day,” the tattoo artist said.
Biles has seven more tattoos, with one matching piece with Owens reading “444” symbolizing “4better, 4worse, 4ever,” as noted by Popsugar.
Her collection includes “XO” inside her lip, “Golden” on her left wrist, “1997” above her elbow, “and still I rise” on her collarbone, and the Olympic rings on her forearm.
