Kourtney Kardashian is addressing the viral rumors surrounding her 15-year-old son Mason and is setting the record straight.
On Sunday, March 2, the 45-year-old reality star took to her Instagram Stories to deny the speculations that Mason had a child.
Although Mason, who has kept a low profile in recent years and is no longer featured on The Kardashians TV series, has started reappearing in family photos, these rumors have raised concerns.
Mason made headlines in May 2024 when he launched his official Instagram account, sharing rare photos of himself as he grows up.
One of his first posts featured him posing outdoors in a casual outfit, with his head down and a cap covering his face, while another snapshot showed him with his back to the camera, revealing his outfit.
His aunts, Khloé Kardashian and Kim Kardashian, shared their emotional reactions to the photos, with Khloé, 40, writing, “I can’t believe this is happening,” and Kim, 44, adding, “You’re really on Instagram.”
Earlier this year, Mason’s father, Scott Disick, spoke about Mason’s dating life during an appearance on Khloé’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.
He revealed that Mason was starting to show interest in girls and shared some fatherly advice. Disick, 41, encouraged Mason to be honest in his relationships and avoid manipulative behavior, stressing the importance of honesty.
Kourtney, who is also the mom of daughter Penelope and son Reign, both from her previous relationship with Disick, took to her Instagram Stories to defend her son.
She wrote, “I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true. They are not.”
She continued, “Mason does not have a child. These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”
Kourtney asked for respect for Mason’s privacy, adding, “He is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies. And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
Kourtney also shares a son, Rocky Thirteen, with her husband, Travis Barker.
