Kim Kardashian will testify in person at an upcoming trial related to the 2016 robbery in Paris, where armed men allegedly tied her up and stole millions in jewelry, her lawyer confirmed on Tuesday.
Kardashian, who was in Paris for Fashion Week at the time, was staying in a private apartment when the robbery happened. She was reportedly held at gunpoint, tied up, and locked in a bathroom while the robbers made off with her valuables.
Ten people are facing charges for armed robbery, kidnapping, and other crimes. Their trial is set to take place in Paris from April 28 to May 23.
Kardashian’s lawyer, Michael Rhodes, confirmed she will appear in person to testify. “Ms. Kardashian has great respect for the French legal system and wants the trial to move forward respectfully and according to French law,” he said in a statement.
