Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Pete Davidson Split

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s whirlwind romance recently ended after nine months of dating, but the two have remained friendly. The breakup followed months of drama involving Kim’s ex-husband Kanye West, who hurled several attacks at the couple both online and in the press. Now, in a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim is opening up about the intense emotional toll the situation had on her.

Kim and Pete’s relationship began in November 2021, shortly after Kim filed for divorce from Kanye following six years of marriage. The two seemed to have a perfect romance – until Kanye started his public attacks against them.

At the time of the breakup, Pete allegedly had resorted to therapy “in large part” because of Kanye’s hurtful posts. The comedian even poked fun at the tumultuous year he had in one of his standup routines. Kim and Pete have remained cordial since then, with the two even reuniting at the Met Gala earlier this month.

Kim broke down in Thursday’s Season 3 premiere of The Kardashians, telling her mother that she was “exhausted” by the drama with Kanye. She admitted that it had been hard to stay silent amidst all of his lies, especially since he publicly shamed her for her sex tape.

“Even through all of the craziness of everything that Kanye says about us, I never comment, I never post… we stay silent through all the lies,” Kim revealed in the episode. “All of his shenanigans will be far more damaging to my kids one day than my tape will ever be, and I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know that one day, my kids will appreciate that.”

As Kim continues to process her complex emotions, Kim is determined to stay resilient and optimistic about her future. Hopefully, the 42-year-old queen of reality TV will find the love and happiness she deserves. Until then, we wish her nothing but strength in this journey towards self-healing.
