Chidozie Godsfavour Ugochinyere, better known by her stage name Fave SZN, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entertainer. Her breakthrough tracks “Baby Riddim” and “Beautifully,” which appeared on the Nigerian music chart in 2021, have made her a household name.

Early Life

She was born on March 13th, 2000, and is a skilled female vocalist. Fave’s family is mostly unknown since she keeps her personal life private.

According to her, she began singing at a young age. She grew up listening to Ciara, Tiwa Savage, and Beyoncé, according to her.

Fave started singing when she was only six years old. She composed songs and performed for her classmates, friends, and family at events and after-school hours.

Career

Fave SZN began her professional career in 2019 when she released her debut single, M.O.M.M.S, which stands for “Me or Mask My Sin.”

She rose to fame after she freestyled to a beat made by producer Jinmi Abduls. Shortly after, she launched her smash single “Baby Riddim,” which reached number one in Ghana and Nigeria. Fave, as a creative artist, recognized the potential of social media and used it to her advantage, propelling her to the forefront.

Later, in 2021, she was featured in two tracks on rapper Olamide’s album. “Pon Pon” and “Wants” are the tunes.

Fave is influenced by musical idols such as Adele, Billie Eilish, Shaggy, Aisha Badru, Sia, and Lorde. This has resulted in her music having a blend of R&B, Pop, Soul and Dancehall.
