Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow have cleared up rumors of a feud after some people suggested Paltrow was mocking Markle’s “With Love, Meghan” lifestyle series.
When asked about the rumors on Instagram, Paltrow, 52, responded by saying, “I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever.” She then shrugged and continued eating her food.
The rumors started over the weekend after Paltrow shared a playful video on social media. In the video, she was making breakfast in her pajamas, and at one point, she showed Markle in the background eating a snack, asking, “Do you understand this?”
Paltrow also showed herself doing things like making coffee, kicking high, and petting her dog before finishing the breakfast by cooking eggs.
Paltrow captioned the video, “My cleaner take on a classic breakfast: gluten-free buttermilk biscuits, not-so-perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and crispy bacon #boyfriendbreakfast.”
Fans thought that she was making a parody of Markle’s new Netflix series, which debuted earlier this month.
The two actresses, who became friends in 2023, addressed the rumors of a feud after critics tried to pit them against each other.
