Jennifer Lopez is moving on from her marital home with Ben Affleck.
The 55-year-old actress and singer has bought a new property near Los Angeles for around $18 million, according to property records.
This significant real estate purchase follows the finalization of her divorce from Affleck on January 6, 2025, after she initially filed for divorce on August 20, their second wedding anniversary.
Lopez began searching for a new home in spring 2024. A source told PEOPLE in August that she started quietly looking for a place in April, the same month her divorce filing listed as the date of separation, April 26.
During her search, she considered a “truly exceptional” property in Beverly Hills, offering privacy and A-list neighbors, but ultimately decided on a different location.
In July, Lopez and Affleck listed their Beverly Hills home for $68 million, which is still on the market.
Meanwhile, Affleck purchased his own Los Angeles home for $20.5 million on July 24.
The couple initially offered their Beverly Hills property off-market in June 2024, but after struggling to find a buyer, they opted to publicly list it the following month.
