One month after Dave Grohl revealed that he fathered a fourth child outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum, their daughter Violet is set to return to Instagram.
The Foo Fighters frontman’s 18-year-old daughter had deactivated her account following Dave’s announcement about his new baby on his Instagram.
Now, she’s back with some creative content.

On October 23, Violet made a casual return to Instagram.
Her post featured several artistic snapshots of a building, one of her dad’s gigs, and other abstract images.
She also shared a selfie showcasing her new raven-colored hairstyle, captioning it with just a smiley face to mark her comeback on the platform.
Violet’s post was met with praise from her followers in the comments.
Many welcomed her back and complimented her decision to go “back to black,” as one fan put it.
Other users expressed happiness to see Violet receive positive feedback on her post, with many comments not mentioning her dad’s recent news.

Violet’s last post before her Instagram break was on September 5, 2024, just five days before her father announced that he had welcomed a daughter while still married to her mother.
“I’ve recently become a father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” Dave wrote on September 10.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he continued.
“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved as we move forward together.”
Dave and Jordyn got married in 2003. Along with Violet, they have two other children, Ophelia and Harper.
