Why Real Housewives of Miami Larsa Pippen Is Keeping Her Love Life Private After Breakup with Marcus Jordan

Larsa Pippen, star of The Real Housewives of Miami, has chosen to keep her love life private following her breakup with Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan.

In an interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Pippen, 50, expressed her preference for keeping future relationships out of the public eye after her highly publicised romance with Jordan, 33, ended in March.

“I’ve been trying to lay low,” she shared. “My last relationship was so public, and it didn’t work out well for me.”

Pippen and Jordan made their relationship Instagram-official in January 2023, but it played out on RHOM Season 6, eventually leading to their breakup. Now, she’s hesitant to feature her next relationship on the show, preferring to get to know someone privately before going public.

However, Pippen is still open to dating and revealed she had recently met someone. But things ended quickly after her friends noticed red flags, jokingly saying, “So I’m like, ‘OK, he’s probably going to kill us all.'”

The reality star, who shares four children with her ex-husband Scottie Pippen, admits dating in Miami has been challenging, especially when introducing people to her world and children.

On a brighter note, Pippen enjoyed filming House of Villains solo, forming a close bond with Safaree Samuels, Nicki Minaj’s ex. She is competing for a $200,000 cash prize and the title of America’s Greatest Supervillain alongside other reality TV icons, including Teresa Giudice. If she wins, Pippen plans to use the money to upgrade her new home.

House of Villains airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on E!, with the first two episodes available on Peacock.
