Love Is Blind alum Hannah Jiles, 27, is addressing recent speculation about her weight loss, making it clear that her transformation is not the result of using Ozempic, a medication for type 2 diabetes, but the outcome of hard work and commitment. Speaking to PEOPLE, Jiles admitted she had briefly tried Ozempic earlier this year, but the side effects made it unsustainable. “It made me so sick I couldn’t take it,” she said.
Instead, Jiles attributes her progress to cultivating a healthier relationship with food and exercise, emphasising, “It’s all me.” Following a challenging year, she recognised the link between her mental health and her weight, focusing on improving her overall well-being. “If weight is something that I’m super insecure about, then I need to change that,” she shared.
Jiles has made significant lifestyle adjustments, prioritising physical activity and moderation. “I still don’t really like working out, but I try to move as much as possible… And I just don’t eat a lot,” she explained. Additionally, she has indulged in some cosmetic treatments, including Botox, lip injections, and hair extensions, though she maintains that these haven’t altered her true self.
On October 8, Jiles showcased her journey on TikTok, lip-syncing to a scene from Uptown Girls, captioning it, “Same girl, just a healthier mindset.” Proud of her progress, she stated, “I feel better inside… It’s a lot easier to get up, move, and eat healthy when you’re not depressed inside.”
