Why Does Chrishell Stause Want To Quit Selling Sunset?

Chrishell Stause has expressed her frustration with the situation on the set of “Selling Sunset” by considering leaving the show.

This decision came after her co-star Nicole Young was allowed to propagate an alleged falsehood about their fellow cast member Emma Hernan in the upcoming season of the Netflix series.

The 43 year old took to her Instagram Story to caution her followers about the forthcoming claims made by Young regarding Hernan, set to be revealed when Season 8 airs on September 6.

In a recent post, Stause wrote, “Someone really needs to pry my phone away from me,” accompanied by a string of angry face emojis, as captured in a screenshot shared on X by Queens of Bravo.

“Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time,” she added.

“I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued,” Stause continued in another slide.

“Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.”

The Oppenheim Group agent then called out show creator Adam DiVello’s company, Done and Done Productions, stating, “You are absolutely awful for blindsiding her with this, exposing it to the world instead of giving her a chance to at least defend herself with the truth.”

Stause’s colleague Chelsea Lazkani also addressed the drama through her Instagram Story recently, as shared by Queens of Bravo.

“Good morning everyone, except for [Nicole Young],” she wrote. “[Nicole], you are the most diabolical piece of 🗑️ I’ve ever met.”

Lazkani, 31, added, “You wanna start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. OK, let’s see how this works out for you.”

According to the Daily Mail, Young alleged that Hernan engaged in a romantic relationship with a married man in the upcoming episodes, which the agents had recently viewed.

In response to the criticism from her fellow cast members, Young reportedly reiterated her stance on her Instagram Story, stating, “Being a married woman, I firmly and confidently advocate for the sanctity of all marriages.”

She further commented, “Instead of coming at me and pointing fingers at me for falsehoods, I believe you ladies should direct some tough questions at your close friend. … Nevertheless, I presented this information as hearsay.”
