Sisters Venus and Serena Williams have an age difference of 1 year. The eldest out of the two, Venus, was born 17 June 1980, with her younger sister Serena born the following September (26 September 1981).

Their similar ages saw the two maintain a close bond growing up, with Serena admitting in a 2003 interview with Oprah she wanted to be like her older sister.

Speaking to the renowned interviewer alongside her sister, she explained: “There were two Venus Williamses in our family—it was crazy.” Talking of how she found herself, she added: “One day I just said to myself, I’m not Venus. I’m Serena.”

How old are their half-siblings?

Venus and Serena are seen to come from a big family, with the two having half-siblings through both their mother and father. According to Cheat Sheet, the pair have three sisters on their mother’s side Lyndrea Price 43, Isha Price, 46, and Yetunde, who passed in 2003, aged 31.

They are also reported to have seven half-siblings from their father’s side. As per an article by the Sun, their ages in 2021 would be Sabrina 56, Richard III, 54, Ronner, 53, Reluss, 51, and Reneeka, 50.

Elsewhere another of their half-siblings Chavoita LeSane was reported to be 45 in 2018, meaning would be they would be 48 currently while his youngest Dylan Starr Richard Williams, who was born in 2012, would be nine.
