Vanessa Bryant shared a touching tribute on Friday to honor what would have been her and Kobe Bryant’s 24th wedding anniversary.
The number 24 was extra meaningful not just because it marked 24 years of marriage, but also because it was the number Kobe wore on his Lakers jersey.
Vanessa posted an old photo of her and Kobe when they were young and happy, with her wearing dyed hair in a rare throwback.
She captioned it simply, “#24 #Anniversary @kobebryant 4/18/01” letting the picture speak for itself.
The couple got married on April 18, 2001, in a small private ceremony with just 12 guests in Dana Point, California.
