Unveiling Shadows

In the realm of the Nancy Guthrie case, a familiar name has emerged – Zack Jaghoub. Guthrie, an 84-year-old woman, disappeared on a Sunday in February, with suspicions of an abduction from her Arizona home. On February 13, a raid occurred near Guthrie’s residence, leading to the detainment of a man driving a Range Rover. Authorities marked the car with “evidence” tape and towed it from the scene.

The internet buzzed with speculation after photos and videos of the Range Rover surfaced, revealing a license plate cover from MG Motors in Tucson. Digging deeper, some individuals found a photo of a Range Rover on the MG Motors Instagram page from September 2025. Among the likes on the post was Jaghoub. Some claimed that Jaghoub bore a resemblance to the figure in a ski mask seen at Guthrie’s doorstep the night of her disappearance.

In an exclusive conversation with Parade on a Saturday in February, Jaghoub aimed to clear his name amidst the wave of harassment and accusatory messages he faced. Despite his past employment at MG Motors in Tucson, he asserted that he had been living in Jordan since 2019 and had no ties to the Range Rover in question.

Jaghoub dismissed the allegations against him, emphasizing the lack of concrete evidence linking him to the case. He expressed frustration at being targeted based on social media speculation and visual resemblances, asserting his innocence.

Addressing the rumors surrounding him, Jaghoub highlighted the discrepancies between the Range Rover on the MG Motors Instagram account and the vehicle involved in the police activity. Despite authorities never reaching out to him, his name continued to circulate on social media platforms, fueling unfounded accusations.

As the Guthrie case enters its fourth week with no named suspect or person of interest, the cloud of speculation looms over Jaghoub. Despite his efforts to set the record straight, the weight of public perception remains a burden on his shoulders.
