Tori Spelling Doesn’t Drink Water, Compares Herself to a Cactus in Wild Admission

Tori Spelling revealed on Tuesday’s episode of her “misSPELLING” podcast that she doesn’t drink water, comparing herself to a cactus.

“I know I have issues with liquids,” she admitted to her listeners, adding that this goes way back in her life. “It’s a crazy, weird habit, and I’m definitely an anomaly.”

When asked about her lack of water consumption, Spelling said, “When I say I don’t drink water, I don’t drink water. How I’m still alive, no one knows. I’m like a cactus—you water me once in a while, and I somehow survive.”

The 51-year-old reality star went on to explain that she has a strong “aversion” to water and prefers other beverages, like ginger ale and Diet Dr. Pepper.

“They are my jam,” she said. “If you see me with a Diet Dr. Pepper, you know I’m thriving. Things are going well, and I’m just kicking butt.”

She added jokingly, “I can guzzle a glass of wine in two seconds, no problem, but a few sips of water? I want to puke.”

Despite her water aversion, Tori shared that the only time she consistently drank water was during her pregnancies.

“Because you have to hydrate the baby growing inside you,” she explained. “In my mind, I was drinking for them, not myself,” so she would always have a glass of water—usually sparkling, but sometimes flat—with lemon.

Tori, who shares five children with her ex-husband Dean McDermott, also took a lighthearted approach to her unique hydration habits.
