The Jonas Brothers: Dancing with the Stars Evading One Brother’s Spotlight

The glitzy ballroom of “Dancing With the Stars” is no stranger to boy band heartthrobs, with several stars from iconic groups gracing the dance floor over the years. However, there is one popular performer who has managed to evade the spotlight on the show, despite repeated attempts to lure him in for a whirl around the floor.

During a candid interview with InStyle, the Jonas Brothers opened up about their experiences with the show and the persistent requests for one brother to join the esteemed lineup of celebrity dancers. Kevin Jonas revealed that he has been approached countless times to participate in the show’s celebrity cast, with his brother Nick acknowledging the persistent invitations. “They’ve asked you pretty much every season for the last 20 years, I think,” Nick admitted.

Despite the ongoing invitations, Kevin has consistently declined the opportunity to showcase his dancing skills on the popular reality competition series. “I have said no. It’s just not for me. But thank you so much. I’m a huge fan,” Kevin shared. However, this decision has not dampened his enthusiasm for the show itself. “I will say, we watch the show. It’s very fun. I feel like it’s really back. Dancing With the Stars is fully back.”

While Kevin Jonas may not be hitting the dance floor anytime soon, fans of the Jonas Brothers can look forward to hearing their music on the show. One of the band’s songs is set to be featured during the season finale, ensuring that their presence is still felt in the ballroom.

“Dancing With the Stars” has a long history of welcoming boy band members onto the show, with various groups represented throughout its 34 seasons. From Donny Osmond of The Osmond Brothers to members of NSYNC like Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, the ballroom has seen its fair share of talented performers from the world of boy bands.

As the season finale approaches, fans can tune in to see who will take home the coveted mirrorball trophy on Tuesday, November 25 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. With new episodes available the following day on Hulu, the excitement of the competition is sure to continue captivating audiences with its dazzling performances and fierce competition.
