Teddi Mellencamp Reveals ‘More Tumors’ Were Removed from Brain than Originally Expected

Teddi Mellencamp shared an update on her health, revealing that doctors removed more brain tumors than initially anticipated.

“In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected—four in total,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star posted on Instagram Wednesday. “This fight is not over, but this round has been won.”

Mellencamp, 43, expressed her gratitude to her medical team for ensuring the success of her surgery and making her recovery as comfortable as possible.

She also thanked her friends and family for their overwhelming support and patience during this challenging time.

“As I move forward with the next steps in my treatment, I just want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and prayers,” she added. “I feel them, and they’re keeping me strong.”

Along with her message, Mellencamp shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed and an X-ray of her brain, showing the multiple tumors.

On February 12, she revealed that she had been struggling with severe and debilitating headaches for weeks, which led to her hospitalization.

After a CT scan and MRI, doctors discovered several tumors on her brain that they believe had been growing for at least six months.

At the time, Mellencamp believed that only two tumors needed to be removed, while the other three would be treated with radiation “at a later date.”

Ahead of her surgery, Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade rushed to be by Mellencamp’s side at the hospital.

After the procedure, Mellencamp was visited by her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, and their three children: Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4.

On February 13, Arroyave provided a brief update, saying the “surgery went well” but that he had never seen her “in so much pain.”

Until Wednesday, Mellencamp had kept her progress private, though she shared a heartwarming photo to celebrate her daughter Dove’s birthday on Tuesday.

Fans have been anxiously awaiting an update, with many reaching out to her friends for comment.
