Taylor Swift Receives Tour of the Century Award at 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Eras Tour’s 2nd Anniversary

Taylor Swift was honored for her record-breaking Eras Tour at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

On Monday, March 17, the 14-time Grammy winner received the prestigious Tour of the Century Award at the ceremony, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

In a heartfelt virtual acceptance speech, Swift, 35, expressed her gratitude: “I really can’t tell you how much this means to me. This is for my tour mates, my fellow performers, my band, everyone who toured with us, our crew… and it’s actually the two-year anniversary of the first show of the Eras Tour, so I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting since stepping off the road these past few months.”

She continued, “People often say that sometimes the greatest challenges in life become the most rewarding, and this tour was definitely the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It was a 3.5-hour show, more performances than I’ve ever done on any tour.”

The “Down Bad” singer shared that she thinks about the tour “constantly,” and that her fans were her biggest motivation: “To the fans, you made these songs what they are. You gave us the passion and generosity to perform a 3.5-hour setlist. You traveled all over the world to see us, and that blows my mind. I’ll never stop being grateful for it. I appreciate this more than you know.”

Following her speech, an exclusive performance of “Mirrorball,” recorded during the opening night of the Eras Tour in Glendale, Ariz. in March 2023, aired during the awards show.

The Eras Tour kicked off on March 17, 2023 — exactly two years before the 2025 ceremony. Swift wrapped up the epic tour in December 2024 in Vancouver.

Swift received 10 nominations at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, tying with Morgan Wallen for the most nominations.

These include Pop Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Music Video, and Best Lyrics for “Fortnight” with Post Malone.

She was also recognized for Favorite Surprise Guest (for bringing out boyfriend Travis Kelce during a June concert in London) and for multiple tour-related categories.

These include Favorite Tour Tradition (both the “22” hat and surprise songs from the Eras Tour), Favorite Tour Style, and Favorite Onscreen Performance for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) movie.
