Taylor Swift has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Colorado man after he allegedly repeatedly visited her Los Angeles home, claiming she was the mother of his child.
Swift, 35, filed the restraining order on Friday, stating that Brian Jason Wagner “made various statements about living at my property,” “being in a relationship with me… believing I am the mother of his son… [and] needing to see me in person,” according to legal documents.
Swift emphasized that these claims are “untrue and disconnected from reality.”
According to the filing, Wagner first appeared at Swift’s Los Angeles residence in 2024 and returned multiple times that July.
On one occasion, he was reportedly carrying a glass bottle. He also allegedly visited her home in May 2025, claiming he was “checking on a friend,” which Swift denies.
Swift’s security team also discovered that Wagner, who has a past prison record, allegedly sent lengthy letters to Swift from jail, expressing infatuation and fabricating stories about their relationship.
The filing also states that Wagner reportedly managed to get Swift’s address on his driver’s license and tried to redirect her mail to his home, in addition to sending threats to her staff via email.
“I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,” Swift stated in the filing, expressing her “fear of imminent harm.”
The temporary restraining order was granted on Monday and is set to expire on June 30.
