Sean “Diddy” Combs has been denied bond following his arrest.
Recall that the iconic US rapper and media mogul was indicted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, leading to his arrest at the Park Hyatt New York hotel.
The charges stem from multiple allegations brought forward by several women, including Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former girlfriend, who filed a lawsuit in November 2023 accusing him of rape, abuse and human trafficking during their decade-long relationship.
However, the case was settled out of court just a day after it was filed, though Diddy denied all accusations, branding them “offensive and outrageous” and accusing Ventura of extortion.
Shortly, a 2016 video surfaced earlier this year, showing him physically assaulting Cassie. Combs later issued an apology, admitting his actions were “inexcusable.”

Diddy denied bond
Following his recent arrest and indictment, a judge ordered that the 54 year old rapper be held without bail pending trial in his ongoing sex-trafficking case in federal court in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.
Prosecutors expressed concerns that if released from jail, the rapper would potentially intimidate witnesses and hinder the legal process.
Additionally, they argued that Combs’ substantial wealth and access to private aircraft made him a flight risk, suggesting he might flee to avoid prosecution.
These concerns led prosecutors to advocate for continued detention.
“Diddy” Combs proposed a $50 million bond, offering his $48 million Miami mansion and his mother’s home as collateral, according to TMZ.
Combs also agreed to wear a GPS monitor and limit his travel between Miami and New York.
Despite these concessions, the judge denied bail. During the hearing, Combs maintained his innocence, pleading not guilty to charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a minimum of 15 years in prison if convicted.
Diddy engaged in a decades-long pattern of abuse, coercion and intimidation to satisfy his sexual desires.
Following his arrest on Monday, a 14-page unsealed indictment revealed disturbing allegations of Combs’ conduct.
Prosecutors claim Combs engaged in a decades-long pattern of abuse, coercion, and intimidation to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his actions.
The indictment alleges Combs led a criminal enterprise involved in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.
Searches of his Miami and Los Angeles homes uncovered evidence, including: drugs and firearms; over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant for “Freak Off” gatherings; three AR-15s with defaced serial numbers and a drum magazine
Allegations also include physical violence against victims, including hitting, kicking, throwing objects, and dragging by their hair.
