Love Is Blind UK contestant Sabrina Egerton has revealed a surprising twist that didn’t make the cut on the show.
The 35-year-old Irish beauty, who was the first to get engaged on the Netflix series, claims producers edited out a significant part of her journey.
In an interview with The Irish Sun, Sabrina disclosed that she had another connection besides her fiancé Steven, 37, which was not shown on the program.
She explained that while Steven was her top choice from day two, she was also communicating with someone else until the day she committed to Steven.
This other person even asked her to be their connection, but it was ultimately left out of the final edit.
The show has received praise for its more mature cast and thoughtful conversations, including discussions around fertility struggles.
Unlike previous seasons, which faced criticism for pressuring contestants about pregnancy plans, fans are appreciating the new series for its genuine portrayal of love-seeking contestants.
However, Sabrina and Steven’s relationship hit a bump when the topic of children arose. While Steven expressed his desire to have kids, Sabrina confessed that she didn’t feel the need to become a mother.
Sabrina explained her perspective, emphasizing the importance of establishing a strong and stable partnership before bringing a child into the picture.
She also shared her personal concerns, noting that by the time she and Steven are ready, she’ll be approaching her 40s and may face challenges conceiving naturally.
Sabrina further reassured Steven that if natural conception wasn’t possible, she would be open to exploring alternative paths to parenthood, such as surrogacy or adoption.
This brought immense relief and joy to Steven, who was overjoyed by Sabrina’s willingness to build a family together.
