Love is Blind Stacy Synder Reveals New Sexual Identity

Stacy Snyder has just dropped a significant life update.

The Love Is Blind alum, aged 35, disclosed her queerness in an Instagram video that went up on Wednesday, August 28.

In the footage, she’s seated at a table while various speculations swirl around her, from being single again to having a boyfriend and even being considered irrelevant.

The video momentarily blurs before Stacy reveals her truth, and boldly, the words “SHE’S HAPPY” flash on the screen in all caps.

Simultaneously, a mysterious woman approaches and plants a kiss on Stacy, who is absolutely beaming with joy.

Stacy surprised everyone with the caption “Surprise! #🌈.”

While she kept her new partner’s identity secret, her Love Is Blind co-stars showed their support in the comments.

Chelsea Blackwell exclaimed, “You go girl!!!!!❤️,” and Laura Dadisman commented, “Happy looks good on you babe 🩷.”

Zanab Jaffrey expressed curiosity, saying, “Girlllllll we need a catchup! Happy to see you happy ❤️ #lovelove.”

Nancy Rodriguez added, “🤍🤍 nothing but the best for my gal!”

Stacy featured in season 5 of Love Is Blind and got engaged to Izzy Zapata in the pods.

Despite reaching the altar in the finale and Izzy agreeing to marry Stacy, she declined, citing time constraints as a major issue.

Although they seemed amicable and open to possibly dating again, Izzy later expressed frustration towards Stacy, stating during an interview, “It’s like she’s always trying to find something wrong.”

Regarding his sudden change of heart, Izzy revealed to PEOPLE that as producers were questioning him, reality hit him.

“I’m sitting there and I’m getting my questions asked to me, I’m like, ‘Damn. F— this. This is s—ty.’ I was so hurt that I finally just let my emotions sit in,” he shared in October 2023.

Stacy shared with PEOPLE in October that she was “surprised” by Izzy’s outburst, yet she didn’t solely fault him.

“Of course he’s gonna be emotional,” she acknowledged. “Did I like what he said? No, but I get why he said it. He was hurt. I know him, and I know he was hurt. I don’t buy into what he said. I don’t think he does either. He was just genuinely hurt.”
