Love Is blind season 1 couple Amber and Matt Barnett are expecting their first child.
The couple revealed they’re having a baby on the debut episode of “The Love Seat” podcast, hosted by fellow alumni Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton.
“Over summer break, he just went and knocked me up,” Amber revealed.
Speed-Hamilton then responded to the news excitedly saying, “There’s a baby Barnett on the way!”
Amber playfully hinted that her pregnancy may have been underway sooner than expected, joking: “I was bartending at that party and I know we were all getting turnt, so, little baby B might come out ready to throw down with us.”
Speed-Hamilton offered heartfelt congratulations, “Biggest congratulations to Amber and Matt while Cameron Hamilton chimed in, “I’m ready to be an uncle!
Amber and Matt also shared their joyful news on Instagram with series of videos which ended with a cute image of the couple cradling Amber’s baby bump.
“Where it started, Where we’ve been, Where we’re at…” the caption read.
Amber and Matt’s relationship began in 2018 on Netflix’s “Love Is Blind.”
They met, fell in love, and married in November of that year.
Their love story was aired on Netflix in February 2020, with Matt describing it as: “One of the craziest, most wonderful experiences of my life.”
Fast forward to 2024, the couple is now expecting their first child.
Just last week, Amber addressed rumors of a split on Instagram: “Yes, @barnettisblind and I are still married.”
