Lizzo has opened up about feeling down on herself for overeating as she navigates her weight loss journey.
“I overate yesterday and I’m feeling really bad about it,” the singer shared in a TikTok post where she showcased her slimmer figure.
“I’m trying to remind myself that my body needed that nourishment,” added the “Truth Hurts” artist, who previously addressed Ozempic accusations earlier this month.
The 36-year-old then shared the importance of self-kindness as she continues her health journey.
“And if my body deserves comfort, then my brain deserves comfort too,” Lizzo concluded in the clip.
To offer support to her fans who might be facing similar challenges, the Grammy winner added, “If you’re going through this, you’re not alone”.
Shortly after Lizzo posted the clip for her fans, many took to the comments to express their gratitude for her openness.
“I needed to hear this too ,” wrote one fan, while another commented, “This vid hits different. Just know you’re not in this alone, fam. Stay strong!”
In the clip, Lizzo wore an oversized striped shirt, a denim mini-skirt, and nearly knee-high boots.
