Liam’s sister shared several family photos in her post. In one, she and their sister, Gibbins, smiled together in front of a floral backdrop surrounded by balloons. In another, the singer was seen walking with his niece, while the final photo in the carousel showed the three siblings with their parents, Karen and Geoff.
Nicola’s tribute came after Liam’s other sister, Ruth Gibbins, posted a similar message on Instagram on Saturday, 19 October.
Liam was pronounced dead after falling several stories from a balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 16 October, as confirmed by the Policía Federal Argentina to PEOPLE.
Following the confirmation of Liam’s death, his family released a statement expressing their grief.
“Liam will forever live in our hearts, and we will remember him for his kind, funny, and brave soul,” they shared with the BBC and other outlets. “We are supporting each other as best we can as a family and kindly request privacy and space during this awful time.”
