Kyle Richards Confirms Why She Removed ‘Wife’ From Instagram Bio Amid Mauricio Umansky Separation

Kyle Richards’ recent decision to remove “wife” from her Instagram bio was a direct response to the photos of her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, kissing another woman.

On the latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Richards revealed that she felt it was “stupid” to maintain the title while Umansky was publicly displaying affection with someone else.

She shared that, in the past, she found it difficult to consider removing “wife” from her bio or even changing her married last name, but seeing those photos shifted her perspective.

Richards also noted that Umansky had already updated his bio to remove “husband and father” before she made her own change.

She ultimately decided to focus on moving forward rather than dwelling on the situation, stating that she doesn’t even care who the woman is.

Following the initial revelation about her Instagram bio change, Kyle Richards further elaborated on her feelings during a conversation with Dorit Kemsley.

She candidly admitted to seeing Mauricio Umansky kissing another woman, highlighting the impact this event had on her decision.

While Richards’ bio now focuses on her personal and professional endeavors, it’s worth noting that she removed Umansky’s last name from her social media accounts months before the “wife” removal.

Although neither party has formally filed for divorce, Umansky has been linked to various women since their separation announcement in July 2023.

Most recently, he was seen with model Klaudia Kin in Aspen, Colorado.

Richards, on the other hand, has faced rumors about a potential romance with country singer Morgan Wade, though she has denied anything beyond friendship.
