Katy Perry Was Ambushed by a Fan Who Grabbed Her on Stage While Performing in Sydney

Katy Perry experienced an unexpected moment during her “Lifetimes Tour” stop in Sydney, Australia, on Monday, June 9.

While performing her hit “Hot N Cold,” a fan jumped onto the stage and put his arm around the 40-year-old singer.

Perry quickly moved away as security intervened to remove the man, who was also seen doing the “Fortnite” dance.

Perry acknowledged the disruption, telling the crowd, “Well, there’s never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney.” Security eventually escorted the man off stage.

This incident follows other memorable moments on Perry’s tour. During a May 17 performance in Las Vegas, Perry playfully accused a concertgoer of direct messaging her fiancé, Orlando Bloom.

At that same show, she also experienced a minor wardrobe malfunction when her reflective cone bra came undone during her song “Part of Me.”

Perry skillfully played it off, slowing down her movements and joking, “Oh s—, my bra is gonna come off,” as she walked to the main stage.

Katy Perry’s “Lifetimes Tour,” which began on April 23, 2025, continues its Sydney run tonight at the Qudos Bank Arena.
