Kamala Harris receives personal endorsement from Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish has publicly endorsed Kamala Harris for the presidency of the United States. The “Ocean Eyes” hitmaker expressed that she would “feel safe as a woman in my country” if Kamala wins the presidential campaign. Last month, she showed her support for the 49-year-old candidate alongside her brother, Finneas.

In a recent cover interview published by Vogue, Billie stated, “I mean, this is the most important election of our time, maybe, and it’s so easy to be like, ‘I don’t want to think about it…’. I have that same kind of feeling.”

When asked to share her thoughts on Kamala, the songstress replied, “I’m a really big fan of human rights. I’m a really big fan of women’s rights and women’s reproductive rights, as well as social justice and gun laws.”

Billie noted that many of her fans will be voting for the first time, saying, “So I’m like, ‘Do you like freedom?’ First female president? That would be really amazing. I would love to feel safe as a woman in my country.”

The Grammy winner is among a host of A-list celebrities who have shown support for Kamala, including Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, P!nk, Bon Iver, Quavo, Bruce Springsteen, Chappell Roan, and Olivia Rodrigo.
