Jessica Alba Speaks Out on Breakup from Cash Warren After 16 Years of Marriage

Jessica Alba has opened up about her breakup with husband Cash Warren.

On Instagram, the Trigger Warning actress shared a heartfelt message on January 16, stating, “I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.

“I’m proud of how we’ve grown as a couple and in our marriage over the last 20 years, and it’s now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals.”

She continued, “We are moving forward with love and kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family. Our children remain our highest priority, and we request privacy at this time.”

Alba, 43, and Warren, 45, met in 2004 on the set of Fantastic Four and married in May 2008.

They share three children: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7.

In a cryptic New Year’s Eve message, Alba expressed hopes for her 2024 to be “filled with connection, growth, adventures, laughter, peace, sisterhood, transformation, rebirth, joy, and so much love.”

Recently, they appeared together to celebrate Hayes’ 7th birthday.

TMZ reported on January 9 that the couple had separated and were nearing a divorce, but a source told PEOPLE that they would remain close, emphasizing that any potential divorce isn’t due to “some hateful drama.”

In May 2023 Alba marked her wedding anniversary with Warren.
