Jamie Spears Removed as Conservatorship of Britney Spears Estate

Judge Brenda Penny has removed Jamie Spears from Britney’s conservatorship, freeing her from a 13-year situation that did more harm than good to her. In his place, the judge has temporarily appointed John Zabel, a certified public accountant who was nominated by Spears herself, to oversee her finances.

This is a huge step in the Britney Spears conservatorship case, and, a separate hearing which is set for November 12, will see the Judge decide on whether to terminate her conservatorship altogether or not. This came after Britney’s lawyers requested that a new hearing be held in the next 30 to 45 days to decide whether to end Spears’ conservatorship altogether.

This request was supported by Britney’s personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery.

It is also major news for Britney’s fans who have supported her through this journey via the #FreeBritney campaign.

About Britney Spears Conservatorship
