Doja Cat has shut down rumors of being engaged to “Stranger Things” star Joseph Quinn after she revealed a ring on her left hand during her show at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Saturday night in Las Vegas.
“No, I’m not engaged its a David Yurman ring with no rocks in it,” the singer wrote in a now deleted tweet.
Speculations about an engagement started circulating following a viral video of Doja, known as Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, during her performance.
In the midst of singing her popular track “Agora Hills,” the singer paused, extending her hand to display a ring on that specific finger.
“Rub it in their face, put a rock on her hand,” she sang as the crowd went wild.

“JOSEPH QUINN AND DOJA CAT ARE ENGAGED?????” asked another.
“I’m not sure what to make of it; it’s only been a month,” expressed a confused fan.
Doja cat revealed her relationship with Quinn
In the previous month, Doja made her relationship with Quinn, 30, public as they were spotted showing affection during a London excursion.
According to images from the gossip blog DeuxMoi, the “Say So” artist was photographed cuddling with her head resting on the shoulder of the “A Quiet Place: Day One” actor while enjoying themselves at Dingwalls.
The publication also posted a video of the duo taking a romantic walk together.
In the footage, Doja grabbed Quinn’s hand behind his back while he affectionately placed his hand on her backside.
Shortly after, the Grammy winner and Quinn were spotted hand in hand during another stroll in the Big Smoke, his birthplace.
The couple seemed completely into each other, exchanging smiles and conversation during their romantic outing.
Noah Schnapp disclosed Doja and Quinn’s relationship
Two years back, Doja’s interest in Quinn became known through his “Stranger Things” co-star Noah Schnapp, who shared private DMs between him and the “Kiss Me More” artist with the public.
In those messages, Doja asked Schnapp, who was 17 at the time, about Quinn’s relationship status before the young actor sent a link to his colleague’s Instagram profile.
Following the public exposure of the DMs, the Doja criticized him for leaking their private chat, labeling him as “unbelievably socially unaware and whack.”
Shortly after, Schnapp took to TikTok to address the situation, stating, “Hey guys, everything’s cool. I said sorry, and I still follow her and dig her music. No bad vibes at all”.
