In New York, a DoorDash delivery driver named Olivia Henderson is facing serious legal trouble after filming a TikTok video of a half-naked, intoxicated customer. The incident allegedly occurred when Henderson arrived at the customer’s residence on October 12 to drop off a food order. The customer, who was incapacitated and unconscious due to alcohol consumption, was lying on his couch with the front door wide open.
Henderson posted the video on her TikTok account, @irlmonsterhighdoll, where it garnered significant attention. In the video, the customer’s state of undress was clearly visible. Henderson claimed in subsequent TikTok videos that she had been sexually assaulted by the customer during the incident. However, after an investigation by the police, it was determined that no sexual assault had taken place.
The video, along with Henderson’s claims, led to her account being deactivated by DoorDash. Henderson expressed frustration over losing her job and accused the company of not taking appropriate action regarding the incident. She faces charges of unlawful surveillance and dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image, both of which are felonies carrying potential prison sentences of up to eight years.
Despite the charges against her, Henderson maintains her innocence, insisting that she did not enter the customer’s home or open the door. She has indicated that she has evidence proving the door was already open when she arrived.
The case has sparked a dialogue about privacy concerns and the responsibilities of delivery drivers when entering customers’ homes. Law enforcement officials are continuing to investigate the incident, with the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office involved in the decision-making process regarding the prosecution of the charges.
