Supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid have revealed they have a previously unknown half-sister named Aydan Nix.The news was confirmed in a statement the sisters gave to the Daily Mail.
“Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” Gigi and Bella shared.
They explained that Aydan was born and raised in Florida, believing a different man was her father until his sudden death when she was 19.
Out of curiosity, Aydan took a genetic test, which revealed her biological connection to the famous sisters.
The Hadid sisters said they first connected with Aydan in late 2023 and have since “embraced Aydan with open arms.”
They added, “She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family.”
Gigi and Bella emphasized that they’ve had “many open and loving conversations” with Aydan about how to support and protect her.
They also stressed that Aydan and her family value their privacy, and requested that the public “honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York.”
Aydan Nix is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Dull.
