Eritrea has declared itself Corona Virus Free after successfully treating all 39 cases of corona virus without any deaths.
According to Eritrea’s Ministry of Health, the 39th patient was discharged on the 15th of May 2020. This news was also confirmed by the Information Minister of Eritrea, Yemane Meskel in a tweet saying,

Meanwhile, in Nigeria, a 4 month old child and 15 family members have tested positive to Corona Virus in Kaduna state.
According to Dr Amina Mohammed-Baloni, the Kaduna state Commissioner for Health, the father of the infected child had a travel history to Kano.
A four-month-old girl is regrettably one of the new patients and investigations indicate that her father had travel history to Kano. The infant, who had been brought to the hospital for respiratory issues, was tested in accordance with the updated guidelines which advise that persons with such symptoms be tested. Her parents have also been tested and their results are being awaited.
As at 16th May, 2020, Nigeria recorded 176 new cases of Corona Virus with Lagos state having 95 of those cases.
