Elon Musk’s Estranged Transgender Daughter Plans To Leave US After Trump’s Win

Vivian Wilson, the estranged transgender daughter of Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk, has announced her plans to leave the United States following Donald Trump’s election victory.

The Republican candidate Donald Trump was on Wednesday declared winner over Vice President Kamala Harris, leading to widespread concern among members of the LGBT+ community.

The 20-year-old shared her plans on Threads, expressing her discomfort with Trump’s return to office.

She wrote: “I don’t see my future in the United States.

“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if anti-trans regulations don’t materialise, the people who voted for this arent going anywhere anytime soon”.

Born Xavier Musk in 2004, she filed to legally change her name and gender in April 2022, seeking to sever ties with her father by adopting her mother’s maiden name, Wilson.

Musk, who has openly supported Trump has been vocal about his strained relationship with Vivian.

He claimed that he was misled into allowing his child to use puberty blockers.

Musk said, “I lost my son… They call it ‘deadnaming’ because your son is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

However, Wilson refuted Musk’s claims, labeling him an “absent father” and claiming that he was cruel to her during her childhood due to her queerness.

Wilson criticized her estranged father for saying he was “tricked” into allowing her to receive gender-affirming medical care.

“He was not by any means tricked,” Wilson said, stating her father read over medical documents multiple times. “They save lives. Let’s not get that twisted. They definitely allowed me to thrive.”
